Overview
Vertical Abyss container taken from the depths of the ocean
Stand it in a corner of your loot room, where a box would leave awkward dead space. It is the upright twin of the horizontal Abyss tank: the same 75 metal fragments and 300 wood, no bench, no research. Pick between the two by the shape of the floor and nothing else.
The recipe matches the plain vertical storage barrel to the fragment, so think of it as that barrel with deep-sea paint. Next to a large wood box it costs a bit more, and every player can craft the box from the start, while the tank's blueprint is tied to owning the item on Steam.
Picture a duo base on day three. You own the Abyss content, your mate does not, and the main room is a mess of mismatched boxes. You craft a few tanks, both of you use them, and the room finally looks like one build. That is the whole value. But before your mate fills one with boom, check that it takes a lock, because the plain barrels do not.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
