Overview
Precision schematics with complex information, multiple fragments are necessary for crafting a Tier 3 Workbench.
Every one you find is a fifth of a Level 3 workbench, and the data lists no other use for it. That bench is where a group stops paying for raids in satchels and starts crafting its own C4 and rockets, so these scraps of paper end up deciding when your late wipe begins.
The rest of the bench is farmable: a hundred high quality metal and a thousand metal fragments, crafted at a Level 2 workbench. Fragments are not. They come out of loot, so the usual picture is a group with the HQM smelted and the frags boxed, holding three fragments and waiting on the next monument run for the last two.
Spare basic fragments may help. Their in-game text says twenty of them can be pieced together into one advanced fragment, but the data on this page shows no such recipe, so check in game before you count on it.
Tip
Once the bench stands, wall it in deep. Recycling a spare one never returns all five fragments, and a bench lost to raiders sends you back out hunting.
