Characteristics
Overview
Keep your things in this wooden barrel. Stores up to 48 items. Cannot be locked.
Loot rooms nobody outside your group ever reaches are where it belongs. Its own text promises 48 items and says outright that it cannot be locked, and both halves of that line matter.
Next to a large wood box it holds the same and costs more: 75 metal fragments and 300 wood against 50 and 250. The box also takes a lock and every player can craft it from the start, while this barrel's blueprint is tied to owning the item on Steam. So you pick the barrel for the look and for its shape, lying flat along a wall, under a staircase or in a strip of floor where a box sits awkwardly.
Watch out
Picture a duo on day three with the sulfur in two barrels right by the airlock. One door stays open while they farm, a naked walks in and leaves with the whole stack. Barrels go behind your last door, valuables go in locked boxes.
The vertical storage barrel is the same thing standing up, and the horizontal industrial barrel and the other painted versions share its recipe to the fragment.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
