Characteristics
Overview
A hidden, burried stash to keep your items safe. After placing, return to the stash and aim at the ground where you hid it and it will reveal itself.
Bury a backup kit where no raider will think to dig. Ten cloth and no workbench buy you a small box that sinks into the ground once you hide it, and only someone standing right over it and looking down will spot it. The game tells you how to get it back: walk to the spot and aim at the ground where it lies.
The classic use is a stash in a bush a short walk from your base, holding a gun, some meds and a set of clothes. If you get offlined and the base is gone, you wake up on a sleeping bag hidden nearby and dig up enough to fight back instead of starting naked.
Watch out
Remember where it is. A stash has no marker of any kind, and losing one yourself is easier than you would think. Write the spot down or bury it next to something you will recognise.
It holds little, so it suits a spare kit, not a stockpile. It is also part of every satchel charge: one stash per satchel, which is why recycling a satchel hands one back.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
