Overview
A large banner hanging on a pole.
No wall needed. This version brings its own mast, so the banner goes where nothing is built: by the road outside your shop, on the corner of a farm plot, at the gate of a compound that is just high walls and open ground.
Out in the open it doubles as a landmark. Tell a fresh teammate to follow the road until the blue flag, and they will find the base quicker than from grid coordinates. The flip side is obvious. A raider on the next hill sees the same flag and knows someone lives there.
It costs 20 cloth, 50 metal fragments and 100 wood: half the metal of the hanging banner, plus wood nobody misses after the first hour. Paint it with the canvas editor once it stands. Far from base, do that straight away, because walking back later to finish the design is a long trip on foot.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
