Characteristics
Overview
A cozy leather beanbag seat to sink in to.
Leave the hides in the box. Despite the name, the row asks for no leather at all, only metal fragments and wood at a Level 1 workbench. Newcomers sometimes hoard leather for it, when that leather does far more as clothing and armour.
What you get is a seat. You sink into it between runs, and like any chair it most likely gives you comfort while you sit. It stores nothing and has no say in a raid.
Both beanbags are skins of the chair, not items with a blueprint of their own. You craft a chair and pick the leather or the fabric beanbag look if you own that skin, so there is nothing to research and the decision comes down to taste. Say your group has a corner next to the loot room where everyone waits out the night before a morning raid: one of each, and the room looks lived in, with neither costing more than the other.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
