Overview
Receive a special gift each and every day!
Put it somewhere you walk past every day of the Christmas event, and it gives you a gift each day you come back to it. That is the calendar's whole job. It does nothing for your defence, your farm or your raids.
Whatever recipe you see listed for it, you cannot craft it: no pile of cloth and no Level 1 workbench will make one, and it cannot be researched either. A calendar reaches you as loot or through a trade, just like the Christmas tree it usually stands beside.
On a December wipe, place one on the first day. Logging in daily already pays off through the stockings you hang by a fire, and the calendar adds a second present for no extra effort. When the event ends, leave it standing as decor or recycle it for part of the cloth and wood.

Direct hit, hard side, no duds. Satchel Charge is a dud 20% of the time. Beancan Grenade is a dud 15% of the time. A range runs from point blank to the far end of the bullet's falloff, fired from an Assault Rifle.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
