Characteristics
Overview
A standard issue battle dress uniform shirt. Old, worn and stained, but provides moderate protection.
Your teammate climbs back into base after a long night out and drops a stained army shirt in the shared box. Wear it. By its own description it gives moderate protection, a step up from the burlap shirt you crafted on the beach, and a road sign jacket goes over it the same way.
The row is a little misleading. It lists sixty cloth and a Level 1 workbench, but the game files say neither the shirt nor the matching pants can be crafted or researched at all. Every shirt comes from loot, recycling or trade, so do not plan a kit around one.
If nobody wants it, recycle it. You get back about half the cloth, a bigger stack than any burlap piece returns.

Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
