Overview
A high-yield resource gathering Icepick.
Farming for a raid, when every node has to count, is the job it was made for. Its own description calls it high-yield, and over a whole field of sulfur ore the extra from each rock adds up to a noticeably bigger pile by the time you head home.
The price sits in the parts. Five metal blades and a metal pipe at a Level 2 workbench cost far more than 125 frags, and research takes 60 scrap. Here is how the standard picks line up:
| Pick | Bench | Durability | Research |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stone Pickaxe | none | 100 | 10 scrap |
| Pickaxe | Level 1 | 400 | 30 scrap |
| Salvaged Icepick | Level 2 | 500 | 60 scrap |
Many players find it swings slower than the pickaxe, the same trade the salvaged axe makes against the hatchet. So for a quick sulfur grab between fights some still take the lighter pick, and bring this one out for long runs.
