About this craft

Sulfur pays for this pick, which is why it usually wins the first pipe over the salvaged axe. The two share the recipe to the last part, but a group that raids feels the extra ore on every farm run, while wood can come from a plain hatchet a while longer.

  1. Learn the metal blade blueprint at the Level 2 bench. It costs half the icepick's research and pays off on every salvaged tool after.
  2. Queue blades in fives between farm runs. Each one is frags and a little scrap.
  3. Put the first metal pipe from a road barrel straight into the tool box, before a revolver or a shotgun claims it.
  4. Craft the pick once both are waiting.

The jackhammer page shows this same bill, but that one can't be learned. The icepick can, so this is the pick you rebuild after a bad night.
