Overview

In-game description
Raw Crocodile Meat. Eating it will damage your health, try cooking it first.

You sit on a jungle river bank with a handmade fishing rod, the line is out, and the water just past your bait starts moving the wrong way. Crocodiles live in the same water you fish in, and they come to you. That is how most raw crocodile meat is earned: you were busy with something else.

Back up the bank before you shoot. After the kill, skin it on dry ground, not knee-deep where it fell. If it died in the water, ask whether a little meat is worth wading in for, in a river that may hold a second one.

Raw, it damages your health like any raw meat, so the fire you lit for the fish does double duty and turns a few pieces into cooked crocodile meat. The rest goes home to a fridge, since a plain box slowly turns it into spoiled crocodile meat.

Groups living on the river keep a stack for the Cooking Workbench. The crocodile pie gives better night vision with ore hotspots for a short time, and the river keeps the meat coming.
