About this craft

For the sulfur of one rocket you can craft seven of these. That is why they feel cheap. But each of the seven wants its own pipe, and for most of a wipe pipes run out long before sulfur does.

The timing makes it worse. The HV blueprint and the rocket launcher both sit at a Level 2 workbench, while crafting a metal pipe yourself waits for Level 3. So in the mid wipe every HV is a pipe found in a road barrel or a crate, or one that fell out of a recycled gun.

Watch out

Don't turn your last pipes into HVs before the launcher is built. It needs pipes too, and a box of rockets with nothing to fire them from is just gunpowder you can't use.

The gunpowder side is painless: the batches divide evenly, so any number of HVs leaves no powder over. Craft it ahead while sulfur is spare, and the rockets are done in moments once a pipe turns up.
