Overview
Unmatched craftsmanship meets devastating firepower.
You learn this when your group is ready to raid properly. Satchels and beancans open a wooden base, but stone and metal walls are where the launcher earns its blueprint. It sits at a Level 2 workbench, so it is often one of the first big unlocks a group saves scrap for.
The launcher is cheap next to what it shoots. Plain rockets need a Level 3 bench and a pile of explosives, so a raid is decided by how much sulfur you farmed, not by owning the tube. Aim where several walls meet and the splash damages more than one piece at a time.
Tip
Carry a couple of high velocity rockets for the turret on the roof or a player who peeks. They fly faster and drop less, but they are poor at chewing through walls.
Every shot is followed by a long reload, and you are exposed the whole time. So never fire it alone in an online raid: one person rockets, the rest hold angles. Incendiary rockets are for burning wooden doors and denying an area with fire. Against stone walls they are the wrong tool.
