Overview

In-game description
A tank top, comes with free stains. Basic protection, but better than nothing.

Someone dropped it, so you wear it: that is how most tank tops end up on a player. On everything else the game text is honest: basic protection, better than nothing, stains included.

On paper it lines up against the burlap shirt. Both take twenty cloth and no bench, but the burlap blueprint is cheaper at the research table, ten scrap against fifteen. Nothing in the tank top's text suggests it protects more than burlap either. Those 15 scrap buy you a look, not an upgrade.

Its moment is day one. You win a rock fight on the beach, the other guy drops a tank top, and that is free clothing until you have cloth for more. Once a Level 1 bench is up, the T-shirt is the next step for five more cloth.
