Overview
A prototype field pickaxe. Useful for gathering ore from rocks.
Make the regular pickaxe either way: this one is a skin of it, and you pick the prototype look when you craft if you own the skin. The two pages read the same line for line: Level 1 workbench, 125 metal fragments and 100 wood, 400 durability.
Watch out
Do not look for it at the research table. There is no separate blueprint: the 30 scrap you put into the normal pick already cover this look. Save the next 60 for a salvaged icepick, which actually gets you more ore.
Its short name ties it to the lumberjack items, and it has a matching prototype hatchet. Whether you get the pair's look depends on the skins you own rather than on anything you do in a wipe. Picked up from a dead player, it farms exactly like any other metal pick.

Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
