Green Berry

Check the Mixing Table before you plant anything. Green berries go into tea recipes there, and each recipe asks for its own mix of colours, so the colour you lack is the one that stops a brew. The game also lets you eat them. Raw, one is a mouthful of food and nothing more.

Here is how it usually goes. Your group sets up the table, picks a tea for tomorrow's farm run, and the recipe wants green. The bushes along the road gave you red and yellow, the box holds none, and the brew waits until somebody finds the right plant.

So give green its own bed. A small planter box is enough when only one or two recipes use it. The first plants come from a green berry seed picked up at wild bushes; once one of them shows strong genes, fill the box with clones of it and stop gambling on seeds.

A harvest bigger than the table can use still has a job. The composter turns the extra into fertilizer for the next round.
