Same bill as the roadsign horse armour, to the last sign. That makes the sum easy when two saddles turn up on one road run: the spare is worth exactly what the armour asks for, but you can never turn it into armour. Saddles cannot be crafted or researched, and the recycler is the only way to open one.
On a green recycler a spare gives back two road signs and one sewing kit. The signs are a whole road sign jacket; the kit is half of what that jacket needs.
Keep one saddle per player who rides, because a horse at a stable is claimed with one, and a double saddle if you ride as a pair. Recycle the rest.
