Overview

In-game description
Raw Wolf Meat. Eating it will damage your health, try cooking it first.

Wolves pick the moment, not you. A pack runs at you across a clearing while you are hauling wood, and when it ends well there are several bodies in the grass and food for days at your feet. All of it is raw, though, and its own text says raw wolf meat damages your health.

The next minute decides whether that pile feeds anyone.

  1. Look around first. Wolves rarely come alone, and a late one may still be on its way.
  2. Harvest every body to the end. Besides the meat you may get a wolf skull, worth keeping only if someone wants the headdress.
  3. Eat none of it yet, however hungry you are. If you need health right now, cook a couple of pieces on a quick fire first.
  4. At home the pile goes on the barbeque, which takes far more at once than a camp fire, and comes out as cooked wolf meat.

Whatever the team will not eat soon goes into a fridge. A stack dropped in a wooden box and forgotten turns into spoiled wolf meat, which hurts you just as much as the raw kind.
