Characteristics
Overview
Cooked Wolf Meat. Eating it will restore some health, hunger, and thirst.
Wolves rarely come alone, and that is good news for your food box. A pack that chases you across a field ends either with you dead or with three or four bodies in the grass, and each of them gives raw wolf meat when you skin it.
Raw, it damages your health by its own text. Cooked, the game promises some health, hunger and thirst, the same deal as other cooked meat. What differs is the amount: one fight leaves you with far more than a single deer, and a camp fire works through it a few pieces at a time.
So take the pile home to a barbeque, which holds a lot more at once. Load it, light it and stay close. Wolf meat left in after it is done becomes burnt wolf meat, and its text says eating that damages you.
Tip
Cook only what the group will eat in the next day or so and leave the rest raw in a fridge. A stack forgotten in a box can come back as spoiled wolf meat, and then the whole fight fed nobody.
