Burnt Wolf Meat

Click it in your inventory and the description calls it spoiled wolf meat. That line is a mix-up. Spoiled wolf meat is its own item that goes off with time, while this one comes from too much fire. Both damage your health when eaten.

The usual way to get here: a pack jumps you in the woods, you drop two wolves with a bow, skin them and light a camp fire by the road for the raw wolf meat. Then a roamer comes over the hill and you run. By the time you sneak back, the fire is still going and the meat is black.

No recipe takes it and the recycler gives nothing. You lost a few pieces of cooked wolf meat, not a base, so let it go.
