Overview
A low quality carburetor for a combustion engine. Mixes air and fuel to the proper ratio.
You craft this to get a car moving, not to keep it moving all wipe. A modular car with an empty carburetor slot stays parked, and on the first day forty metal fragments at a Level 1 workbench is the fastest way to fill that hole.
The game text says what the part does: it mixes air and fuel to the proper ratio. The low quality version does the same job, only worse, and with a durability of 60 it wears out sooner too. On a small cockpit with engine that shuttles between your base and Outpost, you will barely notice the gap.
Tip
Found a car by the road that will not start? Look inside the engine before you give up on it. Often a single part is missing, and this carburetor costs less than the walk home.
Once a Level 2 bench is up, swap in a medium quality carburetor. And do not craft spares just to recycle them: the recycler hands back only part of the fragments and no scrap at all.

Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
