Overview
High quality spark plugs for a combustion engine. Spark plugs ignite the fuel/air mixture to move the pistons.
When a high plug turns up in a crate, put it in the car, not the recycler. Recycling hands back between 48 and 90 of the 120 metal fragments it costs to craft, depending on the recycler, so you lose a part you could not easily replace and gain a modest pile of frags.
Every tier carries the same game text: spark plugs “ignite the fuel/air mixture to move the pistons”. The tier decides how long they keep doing it and how much power the engine has. High plugs bring 140 durability, more than twice the low tier, and need a Level 3 workbench to craft.
Pros
Cons
- The longest life of the three tiers
- With a high quality carburetor and the other top parts, you get the strongest engine you can build
- A good sink for frags once the base is done
- 120 frags each, and an engine takes several
- Locked behind the Level 3 bench
- Gone with the car if someone steals it
They make the most sense in the large engine module of a car your group drives every day. In the small engine of a cockpit with engine that only takes you to the beach, medium plugs do the job for far less.

Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
