Overview
Low quality spark plugs for a combustion engine. Spark plugs ignite the fuel/air mixture to move the pistons.
Fire first, then motion. The game sums the job up in one line: spark plugs “ignite the fuel/air mixture to move the pistons”. Without them the rest of the engine has nothing to push against, and the low tier is the version anyone can make in the first hour of a wipe.
Picture a solo who spots a car by the road with half its engine slots empty. Plugs are the cheapest part of that fix: a Level 1 workbench, 25 frags apiece and a blueprint that costs 15 scrap to learn.
- Open the engine of the cockpit with engine or the engine module and see which slots are empty.
- Craft low plugs and whatever other parts are missing.
- Fill every slot, pour in low grade fuel and drive the car home before someone else finds it.
With 60 durability, the least of the three tiers, low plugs are a stopgap. Once the car stops being a lucky find and becomes the thing you drive every day, put your frags into medium or high ones.
