Overview

In-game description
Single module cockpit for a driver and one passenger, with a small engine.

On a two-module chassis, slots are the whole problem. Put a plain cockpit and an engine on it and the car runs, but there is nowhere for a second friend to sit or for loot to go. This module folds the seat and a small engine into one slot, so the other one stays free for a storage module or more seats.

Pros

Cons

  • Drives on its own: one slot, one working car
  • Costs only five high quality metal more than the plain cockpit
  • A bit tougher, 425 durability against 360
  • The engine is small, so a long, loaded car feels sluggish
  • It still wants a full set of engine parts before it starts

Most groups keep the large engine module for three- and four-slot cars and put this one on the short chassis they find early. On a bigger car you can run both, which helps a heavy build up a hill.

If a cheap two-slot car turns up in your first hours, research this one first. Sixty scrap, and every short car you pick up after that is a runner.
