Characteristics
Overview
A jungle cat pie enriched with cream, purrfect temperature. Boosts hunger, health and hydration. Shows nearby animal tracks for a long time.
Eat it before a long trip, not before a hunt. The big cat pie shows nearby animal tracks for a short time, so you eat it at a forest edge and go looking right away. The rich one keeps the tracks up for a long time, per its text, which lets it work in the background while you are busy with something else.
Picture a morning ride along the coast road to Outpost to trade, with the long way home through the woods. Every set of tracks near the road becomes an option: a deer for leather, a boar for fat, maybe a bear whose raw meat pays for the next bear pies. You never commit to a hunt. You just take the animals that happen to sit close to your route.
It costs you twice. You still need big cat meat from the jungle for the base of it, and on top of that cream that a creamy tea could have used. If the plan is one focused hunt in one forest, the plain pie covers it. The rich pie earns its cream on days you spend far from base anyway.
