Raw Big Cat Meat

Most of this meat arrives by accident, after a tiger or a panther jumped you in the jungle and lost. Going after one on purpose is a different trip, and the reason to make it is the big cat pie, which shows nearby animal tracks for a short time. No other meat makes that pie, so the first one of the wipe means walking into the cat's ground with a plan.

The plan is mostly about not being surprised. The jungle is thick, the cats move through cover, and they do not wait for you to attack. Go as a pair, keep a ranged weapon out instead of a tool, and stop at the edge of open patches rather than pushing through bushes. When the cat comes, it comes fast, and a spear is too short an answer.

After the kill, the walk out is the second risk. Raw meat in your pockets does nothing for the health you lost; if you need it back, cook a few pieces into cooked big cat meat. At home the rest goes into a fridge, because a box turns it into spoiled big cat meat before the pie gets made.
