Characteristics
Overview
A pie made from jungle cat meat, purrfect temperature. Boosts hunger, health and hydration. Shows nearby animal tracks for a short time.
Hunting is the whole point. For a short time after you eat it, nearby animal tracks show up, so instead of walking circles through a forest you follow a trail to whatever left it. When the base needs leather, fat and meat for the next round of crafting and the woods look empty, that saves a lot of running.
Eat it where animals live, though. On an open beach or right next to a monument it shows you very little, and the timer keeps running anyway.
The pie is made from the big cat meat you carve off a jungle cat, so the first hunt has to happen without it. After that it chains nicely: the pie finds the animal, a basic harvesting tea squeezes more out of the body, and a hunters pie helps if the fight turns bloody. The rich big cat pie shows tracks for a long time instead of a short one.
