Rich Apple Pie

Bake it for a long night, not a quick one. The game text keeps everything the apple pie does, better night vision with tree markings and ore hotspots showing, plus the usual boost to hunger, health and hydration. Only the timer changes, from short to long.

So the question is how long you plan to stay out. Picture a solo who logs on at dusk with a hatchet, a pickaxe and an empty base to fill: wood for walls first, then the stone and metal on the ridge behind it, home by sunrise. On plain pies that night means stopping to eat again and again and counting how many are left. One rich pie should cover the whole loop, though the game never says exactly how long its long timer runs.

The price is cream. It comes from milk left to separate in a fridge, and the same small stack feeds the creamy teas your group may want for a raid. For a short session before you log off, a plain pie does the job and the cream stays in the box. Take the rich one to the Cooking Workbench when the night really will be long.
