Characteristics
Overview
A pure ore tea, provides hydration and temporarily increases your yield when harvesting ores a large amount. Enriched with milk to make the effect last longer.
Most sulfur runs are not a tidy cluster. They are a long walk along a ridge with a pickaxe, one node here, two over there, a detour around somebody's base. Milk is the answer to that walk: the game text says it makes the pure ore tea's effect last longer, and the boost to ore yield stays large.
| Cup | What the game text says | Fits |
|---|---|---|
| Pure Ore Tea | large boost, hydration | any run when you have no milk or cream |
| Milky Pure Ore Tea | the same, lasting longer | a long loop on foot |
| Creamy Pure Ore Tea | stronger, shorter | a jackhammer on a tight cluster |
The pickaxe is slow, and that matters more than it looks. Slow swings mean you need the buff for longer to cover the same number of nodes, so a short cup would end halfway round the hill. The milky one you drink at the first node and, with luck, still have on the last.
Brew one per player, since the buff is personal. On a loop like this the extra sulfur adds up to a real stack of gunpowder by the time you are home.
