Overview
A pure ore tea, provides hydration and temporarily increases your yield when harvesting ores a large amount.
High quality metal is what a group runs out of first once the wipe gets going. Armour, better doors and the next weapons all want it, and most of it comes in small amounts off metal nodes. So someone heads for the hills with a pickaxe and a pure ore tea, which the game text says increases your yield from ores a large amount for a while, with some hydration on top. On metal nodes that extra includes the high quality metal ore that drops alongside.
Each cup is mixed at the Mixing Table from several advanced ore teas, so think about the shape of the trip before you open it:
- An ordinary run with a pickaxe over a few good nodes: drink it plain.
- A long walk over nodes scattered across the map: three milk give the milky cup, which lasts longer.
- A jackhammer on nodes packed close together: three cream give the creamy cup, stronger and shorter.
Both upgrades are crafted at a Level 1 workbench once researched. With nothing in the fridge, the plain cup is still the biggest boost the berry ladder gives.
