A hat made of wellipets boots

Ten cloth gets you rubber boots on your head. The game text says the hat is made of Wellipets boots, and Wellipets is a real brand of frog-shaped kids' wellies. So it most likely nods to the Frog Boots that early-access players received.

Unlike those boots, the hat needs no ownership and no research: every player can craft it from the start for ten cloth with no bench, the same deal as the headset. Its text promises no protection, while a baseball cap at half the cloth at least claims a little against damage and cold.

So wear it on the roof while you wave at the neighbours, then swap to a bucket helmet before the first roamer walks past. If it bores you, the recycler returns about half the cloth.
