Overview

In-game description
A clipping of a Blue Berry Plant.

Clones turn one lucky plant into a whole farm. You cut one from a growing blue berry plant, put it in the soil like a seed, and it comes up with the parent's genes instead of a fresh roll.

That matters because the first round never comes out even. Blue berry seeds give you a mix, and only one or two plants will show the growth and yield genes you want. Clone those, set the clones side by side in a large planter box, and pull the weak plants before they breed into your line. Whatever they leave behind can go into the composter.

Groups who brew every day keep a few clones of their best plant in a box away from the farm. If the planters get raided or dry out, the next round starts from the good genes rather than from seeds again. What grows from them is plain blue berries for the teas.
