Burlap Headwrap

Ten cloth to keep your head covered on day one. It hardly changes a headshot, so swap it for a wood or bone helmet the moment you can afford one.

Overview

In-game description
A Headwrap made out of burlap.

Third death of the morning, back at your sleeping bag with a box of cloth and nothing on. You re-craft in order of what keeps you alive, and the headwrap sits at the bottom of that list: ten cloth for a little warmth on the head and an outfit that looks complete.

The head is where a good archer aims, and burlap does very little about that. So the headwrap only holds the spot until the first real helmet. The wood armor helmet costs a bit more cloth plus wood you are chopping anyway, needs no bench, and its own description promises basic protection from melee and ranged hits. A bone helmet does the same job if hunting has left you with bone fragments.

Later the coffee can helmet takes over at a Level 2 bench. Expect the headwrap to come off then, since a helmet and the wrap want the same spot on your head. A spare one in the recycler gives back about half its cloth.
