Overview

In-game description
Delicious Bear Meat, Eating it will restore some health, hunger, and thirst.

Food for days, if the bear fight goes your way. One bear leaves far more meat than a deer or a boar, and cooked it restores some health along with hunger and thirst, so a stack in your pocket doubles as a slow top-up between fights.

Say you dropped a bear at the forest edge with a bow and a lot of luck. Your pockets are full of raw bear meat that hurts if you eat it, and a single camp fire takes forever to work through it. Carry it home and fill a barbeque instead; it is made for cooking a whole hunt at once.

Then stay close. Meat left on the heat after it is done turns into burnt bear meat, which is the same bear for far less food. Pull the cooked pieces out as they finish and let the rest keep going.

Once your group runs a Cooking Workbench, hold a share of the bear back. The bear pie is made from bear meat, and it pairs with a harvesting tea at the end of the next hunt.
