5.56 Rifle Ammo

Gunpowder and metal fragments at a Level 2 bench. Each bullet is cheap; the box a group fires in one evening is not, and that's where planning pays.

About this craft

Six is the number to remember. At six rounds a batch of gunpowder and the round crafts line up, so an order in multiples of six leaves nothing on the bench. Type in a single bullet and the calculator shows the opposite: spare rounds and half a batch of powder you didn't need.

The slow part is not the powder. Most of the craft time goes into the rounds themselves, so have the gunpowder ready and queue the big order while you sort loot at base. Before a raid, one player sits at the bench and crafts the whole box while the others gear up. Watch the metal fragments too: a box of rounds eats a real pile of them, the same pile your doors and base upgrades come from.

For long duels there are HV rounds, but they cost double the gunpowder and need a Level 3 bench. Save those for range and feed the assault rifle plain 5.56.
