About this craft

Count bodies before you count blueprints. A rifle body can't be crafted or researched, so every AK your group crafts starts with one pulled from a crate, a dead player or a broken rifle. Keep them in their own box and decide who gets the next gun before the fight, not after.

Metal springs run short at the worst moment. You can craft them at the Level 3 bench, but they burn scrap and the same high quality metal the rifle wants, so stock the ones from crates and recycled guns. The metal is the real ceiling: it also goes into armored doors, facemasks and rocket launchers, and after a lost fight the choice is often a new AK or new armour, rarely both.

Tip

Repairing beats recrafting. At a repair bench a worn AK costs a share of its metal and never a fresh body or springs.

Craft a stack of 5.56 rounds in the same session. A new rifle with one magazine makes for a short evening.
