About this craft

Count pipes before sulfur. Each craft eats one metal pipe for three shells, so ten shells for the mortar take four pipes, and before a Level 3 bench every one of them comes from a barrel, a crate or a recycled gun. The gun powder is the easy half and divides into the craft with nothing left over.

That ratio makes frag the round a mortar crew fires most. A pipe gives one shell more than it does as HE shells, and each shell takes a third of the sulfur. Learn this blueprint together with the mortar; HE can wait until you have a target it suits.

Tip

Craft for the fight you have planned, not for the box. The recycler returns a fraction of the powder and only now and then the pipe, so spare shells rarely turn back into anything useful.
