Overview
Increases the workbench's max HP by 150% and grants explosive damage resistance.
Save it for the bench you cannot afford to lose. The game text promises 150% more max HP and resistance to explosive damage, so raiders who reach your core with C4 have to spend more of it before that bench goes down.
Your blueprints are safe either way; a wrecked bench only takes away the place you craft at. What hurts is rebuilding it. A Level 3 workbench costs advanced blueprint fragments that come from loot, so a group that loses one in a raid is back to hunting crates. A Level 1 bench costs almost nothing, and armouring it wastes the metal.
Ignore the scrap and sheet metal recipe on this page: the upgrade cannot be crafted or researched at all, so it only comes from loot or a trade. A spare one recycles into one to three sheets, and those can go into high stone walls, which keep raiders away from the bench in the first place.
Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
