Pure Warming Tea

A fire on a hilltop at night can be seen from far away. Say two of you are lying on a snowy ridge above a base you plan to hit, counting how often the door opens. A camp fire would warm you and tell everyone where you are, and lying still in the snow is exactly when the cold creeps in. That watch is a job for the pure warming tea. By the game's text it raises your core and minimum temperature for a while, and it works wherever you happen to lie.

It is the top of the berry ladder, mixed at the Mixing Table from several advanced warming teas. So each cup is worth a short thought about the job ahead before you drink it.

Plain suits a cold job of normal length, like that watch. If the cold is going to drag on, three milk turn it into the milky cup, which lasts longer. If it is a few brutal minutes, say a swim in icy water, three cream make the creamy cup, stronger but shorter. Both are crafted at a Level 1 workbench and cost 10 scrap each to research, so keep a few plain cups anyway for the jobs in between.
