Overview
A very cheap, very ineffective, and very unreliable pistol that fires shells.
Day one, a pile of wood and some metal fragments: that is all an Eoka costs, and you do not even need a workbench. Load a handmade shell, creep up on someone farming, and you can win a fight you had no business taking.
Pros
Cons
- Crafted without a workbench from starter resources
- One shell up close does serious damage
- Can break a wooden door when you have nothing better
- It fires from a scraped spark, which may take several tries to catch
- Wide spread, so it only works point-blank
- One shell, then a reload before every shot
That firing delay is the whole problem. In a face-to-face fight the other player jumps or swings while you are still scraping. Many players craft two and swap guns instead of reloading.
As soon as you can afford a waterpipe shotgun, switch. It costs more but fires when you click. Buckshot and slugs fit the Eoka later too, though by then you own better guns to feed them.
