Do not expect a new shotgun tier here. The Krieg Shotgun came with the Warhammer 40,000 DLC pack in October 2025, and Facepunch sells it as a skin for the pump shotgun, applied when you craft one or at a repair bench. It still has its own entry in the game's item list, which is why it has a page, but underneath the Death Korps look it is the pump.

So use it the way you use the pump: as the gun for doorways, stairwells and the last room of a raid. Load buckshot for anything inside a base and slugs when the target is a little further out. The recipe and the Level 2 workbench match the pump too, so it changes nothing about your progression.

If you do not own the pack, you lose nothing in a fight. The regular pump does the same job.
