Learn the clone step on a rose before you try it on food. A flower that goes wrong costs nothing, while a botched cut on your best hemp or berry plant can cost a whole round. The steps are the same for every crop.
- Grow a rose from a rose seed in a single plant pot or a spare slot of a small planter box.
- Once it has grown a while, look at it and hold E to bring up its options.
- Pick the clone option and check what lands in your inventory.
- Plant the cutting like a seed and watch it come up as the same rose.
Pay attention to when the option appears and what happens to the parent afterwards. That timing is what you need later, when the plant in front of you is the one your tea farm depends on. The rose you pick at the end is still only decoration.
