Overview

In-game description
A medium quality carburetor for a combustion engine. Mixes air and fuel to the proper ratio.

Most cars you drive in a wipe sit on middle-tier parts, and this is the carburetor for them. It takes a Level 2 workbench and 100 metal fragments, two and a half times the low one's price. In return it lasts longer, 100 durability against 60, and the engine gets more out of it. The game text is the same line for all three tiers, about mixing air and fuel to the proper ratio; only the quality word changes.

Say your group has a long car on an engine module that does a loop of the road monuments every evening and recycles on the way. Low parts wear down on those trips faster than you like, and high ones need a Level 3 bench you may not have yet. Medium is where that car should sit.

The swap itself happens at a modular car lift, which by its own description lets you modify modular vehicles. Move on to the high quality carburetor once Level 3 is up and 170 fragments a part stops hurting.
