Overview
Simple hide skirt, made with common materials. Basic all-round protection.
You strip a dead fresh spawn on the beach and find a skirt instead of pants. No reason to leave it lying there. By its row it is the same item in another cut: ten leather, no bench, nothing to research, and the same leather back from recycling as hide pants. Players report the same basic protection as well.
So the choice comes down to looks. The skirt sits on your legs where the pants would, which means you wear one or the other, never both. Someone shooting at you in a skirt is no tougher and no weaker for it. Wear the free one and keep your own leather for a poncho or boots.
Both get replaced the same way, by cloth pants and later leg armour from a workbench. The rest of those options sit in the Attire list.

Recycling
At power grid stage 2 a green recycler works at 60% instead of 50%. Yields depend on the recycler.
