Heavy Scientist Suit

Heavy by name, yet its bill matches the plain scientist suit line for line. No player can craft it, and the armour you can build sits on another page.

About this craft

The heavies on the Oil Rigs soak up a lot of fire before they drop, so you would expect their suit to cost a fortune. The bill says otherwise: the same HQM, sewing kits and tarp as the plain scientist suit, down to the last unit. That is filler, not a price for armour. No player can craft or research the suit, and a dead heavy leaves guns behind, not his clothes.

So if you want to hold a doorway the way they do, look at the heavy plate jacket. It is a real Level 2 blueprint, though it takes sheet metal that only comes from loot. On the rare server where a kit hands you the heavy suit itself, the recycler pays out exactly as for any scientist suit.
