There is nothing to research here. The Abyss rifle has no blueprint of its own: you learn the plain AK, craft it from the assault rifle recipe, and if you own the skin, the gun comes off the bench in the diver's paint. Bench, metal, springs, wood and craft time are all the AK's.
The wait is the usual one. A rifle body comes from a crate, a kill or a recycled rifle, never from a bench, and a skin owner sitting on a box of high quality metal crafts no more AKs than a teammate without it.
What you can prepare is the springs: craft them at Level 3 or keep the ones from recycled guns, so the body is the only thing left to wait for.
