Six boomers share one recipe line for line. Blue, green, orange, red, violet and white take the same powder, fuel and fragments and the same craft time, so nothing in the bill pushes you towards green. You pick it for what it says in the sky.
Decide before you queue, since a crafted shell keeps its colour. Groups that use green as the signal to head home, as the item page describes, keep a couple of those apart in a box and craft the party colours separately, a red for the loud moments.
The recipe appears only for players who own the item, with nothing to research. The one boomer that differs in a single line is the Pattern Boomer, which takes double the metal fragments.
