Turrets are counted in pairs, not in metal. Each one swallows a CCTV camera and a targeting computer, and neither has a blueprint anyone can learn: they come out of crates and back out of the recycler. The calculator unfolds both into tech trash and a Level 3 bench, but that line is the price of parts already in your box, not a plan.
So before anyone spends scrap on the blueprint, open the box and match cameras to computers. A spare camera has other buyers, a homing missile launcher among them, while a lone computer simply waits for its partner.
The bill also stops at the shell. The gun inside, its ammo and the power to run it never show up in the calculator, and without them a turret is a lump of high quality metal on the wall.
Watch out
Don't recycle a turret to free its parts. The ordinary recycler returns the camera and the computer each only half the time, and a turret missing either one is not a turret.
