About this craft

Get an egg before you craft this. A coop without a hen is a wooden box that cost you a rope, and that rope is the only line of the bill you cannot farm.

The wood and frags come off one trip. The rope comes from road barrels, crates or a recycled bow. The unfolded calculator turns it into cloth at a Level 2 bench, but no bench crafts rope, so skip that line.

Early in a wipe the same coil has other bidders. A satchel needs one too, and a group planning its first raid should settle which comes first. The blueprint itself costs pocket change at the research table, and the Level 1 bench is the first one anybody builds, so research never holds the coop up.

Watch out

Choose the spot before you craft. A coop that goes into the recycler gives its rope back only on a lucky roll.
