About this craft

The calculator opens on Beancan Grenade ×4 because beancans are counted as is, and that hides the bill. Unfold them and the main resource turns into sulfur and charcoal, all of it crafted into powder first, while the craft time grows many times over. Nearly all of that time is the beancans themselves.

What actually stalls a day-one satchel is the rope. Everything else here comes from a Level 1 bench or no bench at all, but rope cannot be crafted, whatever the unfolded calculator suggests: it comes from barrels, crates and the recycler. Pick up every rope you pass while farming sulfur.

Tip

Craft the small stashes days ahead. They need only cloth and no bench, so they can wait in a box, and the satchel itself then takes a few seconds.

Satchels pay off on wooden and sheet metal doors. On stone walls the same sulfur goes further as C4 once your bench allows it.
